This information is copied from the template into the new drawing. Representative view symbols — Contains the options used to configure drawing views and the actions that are performed on that view.
The instructions in the template are used to build a new drawing that references a model to place various views in specific orientations and view states. My company has recently changed names and we are required to update all of our drawing borders for existing parts as they are revisioned.

Our drawing border is made of normal drawing elements with a few mapped text fields to populate things like PN and nomenclature. I was thinking along the lines you are, but I don't know if I can blow away the old title block and replace it with a new one without messing up the mapped entities.
Looks like I'll be playing around lots today. Neil Daft question perhaps, but are the frames drawing instances or exploded normal drawing elements?
